A bassist and 10-string viola player, Hugo is also a composer and arranger, and contributes to numerous musical projects. His work draws inspiration from Brazilian popular culture, but he incorporates effects, notably using effects pedals.

 

His style is both urban and tinged with world music. He has three albums to his name, which he is invited to present at numerous festivals across the country.
