The Franco-Cuban singer, guitarist and composer Irina González presents her new opus TIEMPO! An album that makes us discover his broad musical background influenced by jazz, Afro-Latin and Caribbean sounds.
With this third album, the singer offers us a new original, colorful and mixed repertoire with ingenious arrangements.
Irina roams in complete freedom from bossa to samba, from Cuban song (trova) to Afro-Cuban Yoruba songs with jazzy harmonies, while leaving plenty of room for improvisation. On stage, we revel in his spontaneity and harmonious complicity with the musicians who accompany him!
His compositions invite us to an inner journey, to the silence of a meditation that plunges us into his vast musical universe. In her songs she talks about her love of nature, of life, evoking a more just and sincere humanity.
Irina has shared the stage with some of the greatest artists (Silvia Pérez Cruz, Itiberê Zwarg, Luz Casal, Roberto Fonseca, Fatoumata Diawara, Silvio Rodríguez, Pablo Milanés...) in several countries around the world (Cuba, France, Spain, Switzerland , Belgium, Italy, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay and Cape Verde).
